Remotely Execute a script

Hi,

What is the best way to remotely execute a script?

Scenario:
1 Unix box creates a file and moves it to a 2nd unix box
2nd unix box must then move the file to a windows server

How can i execute the ftp script on the 2nd server, I need to schedule the command to automate it!?

I can't do it all from the 1st server due to heavy network restrictions.

I appreciate any help.

Simplest was would probably be to put the copying script to crontab on second server.

Do you need the file really saved on 2nd server? Or you just have firewall issue, and need 2nd server as a bridge server?

set a SSH tunnel, you can scp the file from 1st server to windows server directly.

need to use the 2nd server as a bridge,

I basically work for 1 organisation, the organisation we are helping are restricting our network access for security reasons. That's why we only have access to one server and that's why the file needs to be saved on the 2nd server (we have nowhere else to put it).

SSH Tunnel (I am not an infrastrucure guy), we have an ssh connection to the 2nd server, but do you mean SSH Tunnel to all the other servers (about 6 in total I think)? niot sure how that works...
