The combination of .* is new to me: always seen these two in "XOR mode": look for one- (.) or many-(*) random characters.

Code:
find . -name 'oos*.txt'

indeed works fine.

settings.txt flare does not have a settings dialogue yet. You can manipulate flare's settings in the settings.txt instead.
