sed command using variables in shell script

hi guys,
The following command doesn't seem to work in my shell script:

Code:
tag=$(sed -n '/${line}/ s/.*\[\(.*\)].*/\1/p' myfile.txt)

When i replace the ${line} with an actual value, it works fine.

So, how do i use the ${line} in this sed command?

Thanks in advance,
Zaff

use double quotes
Code:
tag=$(sed -n "/${line}/ s/.*\[\(.*\)].*/\1/p" myfile.txt)
