I have a Solaris 10 server running Oracle database most of the sessions are slow when forking resource/processes on the O/S.
How can I resolve this issue or how do I see the time it takes to fork a process from the O/S?

Solaris terminal responding very slow .. we have recently put a T3 hardware in to production , the applications running are it are perfectly and no complaints from user ..but when i ssh to the server ... the terminal response is very very slow .. it takes 3 seconds to show the character i type ..... The problem is between 2:00 and 5:00 PM.
The email (procmail) proccess load up big time. If I do a prstat at 8:00 AM
I have about 100 proccess and 30 mails in mailq.
Now at 3:50 PM, I have over 1000 proccess from prstat and 600 e-mail in mailq.
Some mail takes 2 hours to get out or in.

Hi all,
Solaris is working very slow as login to solaris takes time say after 10 to 15 mins we get the login prompt back after logging in as oracle account/other account.
This causes most Batch run delays(DWHouse jobs) scheduled through cronjobs.
