I need to read one txt file using awk script. The data in this file I need to use in where clause of select query.Then based upon the result of this select query need to perform some operation on input file. How to write select query inside the awk script?
For eg.
Input file-test.txt contains:
Then select query will be:
Inside loop in awk script

Select columnName from Table where Id=1

How to write this select query in awk script?

I have tried with:

but it is simply printing following statements in output:

select columnname from table where id=1
select columnname from table where id=2
select columnname from table where id=3
select columnname from table where id=4

I want the result after execution of this select statement.
I want to execute this select query in awk and get the result of that query
