sed add after line x new text from file

I've been playing with sed, trying to get it to insert the contents of somefile.txt after line 13 on anotherfile.txt. I tried searching for a line with regex and attempting to insert something on the next line with:
Code:
find ./anotherfile.txt -type f -exec sed -i -e '/^dog/cat/' {} \;

but it doesn't work. I figured if I started with adding another line with "cat" I could maybe figure out how to direct the input from another file there. Am I going about this the right way, or is there some much simpler way? I want to edit the same file, not write anotherfile.txt > stillanotherfile.txt

'man sed' yields:
Code:
       (2)r RFile
            Reads the contents of the RFile variable. It places contents
            in output before reading the next input line.

Hi,
Also have a look at this very usefull page:

Sed - An Introduction and Tutorial

There you can read the part under headline "Reading in a file with the 'r' command" , it will help you i guess.
