Gunzip files

Hi ALL,
Am working with the gunzip command to zip all the old files having 10 days

am using the command
find . -name '*.log' -type f -mtime +10 -exec gunzip {} \;

am facing two issues
1.)it displays the files which are all older than a year
2.)when am trying to gunzip all the old files its throwing the error
gunzip: ./services/csis/log/LISRVR_CSIS_356362_240710.log: unknown suffix -- ignored

Suggestion on this please

gunzip works ONLY on files: [filename.gz] It uncompresses files. gzip compresses files and makes file; [filename.gz]

-mtime +10 finds files older than 10 days. One year is older than 10 days.
