Concatenate columns from files
Hi,
I have a file1.txt like this:
Quote:
'_January' =>
'_February' =>
'_March' =>
'_April' =>
'_May' =>
and a file2.txt like this:
Quote:
'Gennaio',
'Febbraio',
'Marzo',
'Aprile',
'Maggio',
I wat only append file2.txt to file1.txt
and to have something like this:
Quote:
'_January' => 'Gennaio',
How could i do ?

Have a look at the paste command.

Bug PASTE will help you
PASTE command will work like ,line by line it will do the pasting.
Command for PASTE is
paste file1 file2
when you are trying to append ,you will be getting TAB as a delimiter b/w file1 and file2 .Smilie
