Hi all,
Using grep command, i want to find the pattern of text in all directories and sub-directories.
e.g: if i want to search for a pattern named "parmeter", i used the command
grep -i "param" ../*

Alright so I've tried a couple different things that at first glance, looked like they worked.
find . -maxdepth 5 -type d -daystart -mtime 1 | xargs du -h Which seems to ignore the previous commands such as depth and modified time.
find .. -maxdepth 2 -type d -daystart -ctime 1 | xargs... (8 Replies)

Under APPL_TOP (Folder/directory) with below conditions
i) the directory names should start with xx..... (like xxau,xxcfi,xxcca...etc)

the below command only gives me the file location which are more than 100000k...but I want the exact size of the file also..
