How can I execute the results of a pipe?

Hello,

I'm using csh. I have a file named "setup" that I normally source, e.g.

Code:
source setup

I'd like a one-liner that sources this file, but excluding lines that contain "DEBUG", e.g.

Code:
cat setup | grep -v DEBUG | source

Of course, the above does not work. How can I execute the results of a pipe? Or is there another way to do this?

Hey,

Can u try this

Code:
grep -v DEBUG | while read line; do; eval $line; done

I am not sure if this will run in the same shell.

I tried something like this, using foreach, but it does not work for multi-line code, e.g. "if" statements.

Does it have to be done with pipes? This would work too:
Code:
cat setup | grep -v DEBUG > /tmp/file; source /tmp/file
