Shell Programming and Scripting

Hi,

having problem running my cronjob, need the script to run every monday. And the error i'm getting is "No such file or directory", i've tried to change the env to /bin/bash and also /usr/bin/sh but both failed. Need help here. tq

0 0 * * 1 /bin/bash /home/omc/munir/raccli_rnc.sh

Try making the entry as following :

0 0 * * 1 sh /home/omc/munir/raccli_rnc.sh

Also first try running the script without cronjob by just running the following command :

sh /home/omc/munir/raccli_rnc.sh

if it still says "no such file or directory " , please check if you are using the correct path .

thanks, ya, i got the "no such file or directory ", the contents of the script is as below so i guess i should be putting in /bin/bash in the cron but still failed.

gzip /home/nvscron/export/ACTUAL_EXPORT_RESULT*.xml

please give the absolute path of this script racclimx.sh and then try running your script .
