Kindly i want to concatenate every 12 lines ina file, using a comma separator between fields (each line)?

If so, change the number from 3 to 12.

What the command does is, say for 3 lines to be wrapped, till the 3rd line is reached, it forms a variable x with comma separated values. I mean, everytime a line is read, the line is assigned to the variable x with a coma. When the 3rd line is reached, print the variable x.
The END is needed in case of your total file line count not being a mod of 3. In this case, the last line will be printed when the file is finished processing.
