MySQL pattern match
i wish to match a patten something like this
Code:
parfile=/u00/app/oracle/scripts/config.par

i want to check only if the last is config.par
Code:
if [ $parfile = *config.par ] ; then

The above is what i did, but its not working.

Ive used this snippet of code on a solaris box thousands of times. But it isnt working on the new linux box sed -n '/interface LoopBack0/{N;/ ip address /p;}' *.conf its driving me nuts !! Is there something Im missing ? (7 Replies)
