You are running OS X Server aren't you?

Or are you trying to server on a OS X client machine?

I'm not running OS X Server.
I'm using regular Mac OS X 10.3.

And what's a client machine?

If you are not running server, you are a 'client'.

danny at this point it really sounds like you need to sit down and read all the online how-tos to do what you are trying to do.

you dont know if you configured apache.
you dont know if you configured php.
and you havent gotten to the mysql part yet.

i would goto the following sites and read all the docs related to what you are trying to do. there are alot of usergroups out there that do handle this also and should be able to provide you with a much better ave for your questions.
