ksh vs bash

what is diff between KSH and Bash can you tell me some commands which run in either of two but not in both.
while doing normal shell programming I am unable to find diffrence between two

Both are POSIX compliant. So they have a LOT of common function. This is expected.

When you look at "features" - meaning something like the _ variable in ksh and substring ${str:2:2} paramter substitution in bash then you see differences. Neither one of these is a standard shell feature.

External commands, /usr/bin[somecommandname], have nothing to do with shells. They live in their own world.
