Log file size
I am very new tothe shellscripting. I wrote a script as follows.
Code:
NOW=$(date +"%b-%d-%y")
LOGFILE="log-$NOW.log"
sqlplus -s username/password @select.sql <<EOF >>$LOGFILE
exit
EOF

the out put of the script file is around 20 columns.But it is not displaying in single line. Some part ofthe column names are mixxing. Actually the out is pipe delimitted txt file.

Could anybody can help me ..

In the .sql file do you have a

set linesize [somenumbergoeshere]

statement. In any case add one. try a number large enough to make all of the output rows appear in one line.

I think I forgot to mension that I am using PUTTy to connect the unix server. So I am trying to vi the log file.

Autosys R11.3 : Error on log file size limit

Just had a migration from Autosys 4.5 to R11.3. After the migration to R11.3, Autosys jobs have been failing when the log file reaches a size of 800 MB. This did not happen before the migration, when Autosys 4.5 was used. Is there a way to configure the file size limit/cap in Autosys... (1 Reply)
