Lightbulb find a column in a schema
Hi,
I need my script to accept a column name and give all the tables and its schema.
Any kind of help is appreciated...

Assuming Oracle and the column name is unique
-- there are two views ALL_TAB_COLUMNS, ALL_TABLES
this is the sql to use
Code:
select a.table_name
from all_tables a, all_tab_columns b
where
   a.owner=b.owner
and b.column_name='SOME_COLUMN';

hey thanx, bt i didn't understand it properly, n a particular column name can exists in multiple tables across multiple schemas... I need to extract all the table names n their respective schemas!!
