Dividing user Array by 2

Hello!

Im trying to divid the numbers inputed by <STDIN> by 2.

This is what I have:

Code:
 print "The input array divided by 2 is as follows:\n"; foreach ((@userArray)/2) {print}

But it is not dividing by 2?

Any help is valuable!!

try this..
Code:
for i in $@;do
echo $i / 2  | bc
done

Because it's Perl, not mathematics where you can write an array division like that. Using the whole array in an operation will apply that to the number of elements in the array, not the arrays contents.

Instead use
Code:
foreach my $elem ( @userArray ) {
    print $elem / 2;
}
