Question bcp command help
Hi,

When i execute a script in unix, the result i got is ::
./purgeErrors.ksh[24]: bcp: not found

What is the meaning of that output ?

check cp command where you used inside the script ..
That might be wrongly bcp

Hi,

BCP is bulk copy utility , which is used insert the large volume of data into microsoft SQL server.

probably bcp is not available for you or it is not in the PATH variable.
check out where it is located and export the PATH including that.
or use the absolute path.

all the database has its own flavour of bcp utility.

in your script use the absolute path of the bcp command

bcp core dump on Solaris 5.7

I am importing data into a new database using bcp (ASE 11.0) on Solaris 5.7. I keep getting a core dump error when my ksh script attempts to load one table. All other tables load fine.
