Scenario One:

The user wishes to change "Access Grant Blocks" to "Access Maximum"

Scenario Two:

The user wishes to change the value of Cellid "1A" to "4"

Does this make sense or should I be more specific

Well, I've added a new param 'paramToSet' to set the field you want to change (or add)

Code:
awk -F, -v id=$id -v paramval=$paramval -v paramToSet=$paramToSet '
$2==id{
	$paramToSet=paramval
}

' OFS=","

I test the script this way
