Expect script without user seeing output or input

I want a shell script to call an expect script but I want the expect script to run in the background so the user is not bothered with what is going on. Is there any way to do this?

Yes , you can run any command in background
Code:
$ command &

& refers the command to be run in the background.
But the best option would be run the command in the cron.
there by the command itself does not depend on the terminal.
