issue with for loop

Hi All,

Please help me with for loop!!!!

I have to put the limit with for loop like
Code:
  For I in 1..30 
  Do 
  Echo $i
  Done 

I want my output to be like 1
2
3
4
5
6
7
8
9 till 30

I did tried before the same and i am getting syntax error !!!! which shell you are using ..

i tried the same with bash, sh and ksh however no luck

Not sure if it make sense or not .. i am using SunOS

Is there a reason to not use while loop (just asking...)?
In which case you can add a counter...

Issue with bash
