Sum of values coming in a row
Hi, my requirement is to sum values in a row.
eg:
input is: sum,value1,value2,value3,.....,value N
Required Output: sum,<summation of N values>

Please help me...

You can use the below code for your required output.

echo "sum,5,4,3,0" | awk -F"," 'BEGIN {OFS=","} { for(i=2;i<NF+1;i++) x=x+$i ; print "sum",x}'
