Of course, your file selection is $i/L*/L*/L2* so you should : (modifications in dark red). I use the variable 'files' because it is used 2 times.
Code:
files=$i/L*/L*/L2*
for j in $files; do
         echo $j
         # n=$(( n + $(find $j -type f | wc -l) )) - statement 1
         set -- $files
        n=$(( $n + $# ))   - statement 2
...

after modification too its giving wrong result.

8222 is the expected result.But it outputs the value as 5690

I believe it's then better to use the first statement (with find and wc).

i have two lines in my rc.local file that are wget -O/<path>/<file>.zip url://domain.com unzip -o /<path>/<file>.zip the wget works fine, but the unzip won't work. when i copy/pase the unzip line to the prompt it works fine. i thought that maybe the unzip was running before the wget... (0 Replies)

Hi I have searched usr/bin and usr/sbin to try to find unzip but I cannot find it.
