Well, it works on linux with bash.
Code:
[~/tmp]$ cat ../ex
test1
4
[~/tmp]$ ls
1  2  3  4  test1  test2
[~/tmp]$ find . -type f | grep -v "$(cat ../ex)"
./1
./2
./3
./test2
[~/tmp]$

Code:
... | grep -v -f /path/to/exclude/exclude.dat | xargs ...

should take out everything in the exclude file. I have that in a script that I use often, but it's on Linux.

Add -true to the find command to get the full path.

using grep -v from sun solaris 10 is not supported
using grep -f deletes the files on reverse way, i mean the excluded files was deleted

this the script which deletes in reverse way.

Code:
#!/bin/sh
EXCLUDE=/patth/to/fordelete/exclude.dat
FIND=/usr/xpg4/bin/find
GREP=/usr/xpg4/bin/grep
$FIND /opt/admin/scripts/fordelete -type f -mtime +30 | $GREP -f $EXCLUDE | xargs rm -f
