Error Authenticating user ID and Password

Hi,

Can any one please tell me the way to Authenticate success or failure of the login.

Here is my req:

I have to telnet to multiple unix servers and execute the a script there which will give me an integer output. This output should be directed to a txt file.
i dont want to provide user ID and password every time until the password Authentication is success, If it failes then it should read the new user ID and password and then has to proceed further.

the user ID is always same but the password will get change as it is a soft token password.

Please help me with your valuble thoughts and inputs. Thanks in Advance!!

Regards,
Chandu

I suggest you take the script from:
https://www.unix.com/unix-dummies-que...et-script.html
replace host, username and password with variables and wrap it in a while loop that reads from a text file into variables for host, username and password.
