Removing the index file

Hi Folks,

Under the path /home, I need to remove the index.html/php files from all the users. But the thing is I need to move the index file from the username starting with a-d, then e-g. How can I do this via the shell script.

Code:
find /home/[a-d]* -type f -name "index.html" -exec echo rm {} \;

find /home/[e-g]* -type f -name "index.html" -exec echo rm {} \;

If you make sure the command is correct, then remove echo from above commands, and do the job.

find /home/[a-de-g]* -type f -iname "*php" -exec rm -i "{}" \;
