loggin in using different user from with in the shell script
Hi,

I want to login using different login credentials from with in the shell script.

I need to do this so that I can run a second script which can be run using only by that user.

eg.

#!/bin/bash

#login using new user
username:
password:

sh script.bash

#logout above user


is this possible?

If you are executing the script as root, it is possible.
Else, you may need to use :

1. tools such as expect to hard code the password.
2. Use ssh. ie, Create pub/private keys and copy pub key in the other user's auth keys.

How about su -c with the command given starting off e.g. an xterm executing the second script ...?
