FTP timestamp

Hi,

I am searching for a way to change the display format of the timestamp from an FTP server.

From a SOLARIS 9 server (ksh) I am connecting with a shell script using Ncftp to an FTP remote server.
This script is making a list of available files on that FTP server. All files are listed with a particular date/time format :

Sep 9 09:18 file_name

I would like to format this like :

09/09/2009 09:18 file_name

My question is : Is there an FTP command that I could add to my shell script to ask the FTP server to send the timestamp on the format I need ?

If not can you confirm that there is no solution to solved this ? I am lost on this Smilie

Thanks for your help
