Hi All,
I am facing a strange problem while grepping for a process. Here is the small script that i have written.
It will look for any process running with the parameter passed to the script.
If no process is running it should print appropriate message.

I ahve 2 files with below content:

ghg

test2
i want to use file1 as pattern file and find out the missing strings in file2.(i.e ghg in this case regardless of c ase)

I am trying to grep a string from a file that both the file and the string may have characters in them that are quite... strange, like würzburger.
Well, bash reads this as

For example, if i do

The following is a transcript of my session, I am using egrep but have also used grep -E. The directory names have been changed for security:

Some of my application were not running properly due to lack of virtual memory.....so wht i did add one free harddisk as swap file system...and increased the swap memory..

I did an installation of Redhat 7.1 and it seem to install smoothly. I go and reboot and I get the following message:
"INIT: Id "x" respawing too fast: disabled for 5 minutes"
The screen flashes 4 times every 10 seconds or so.
