Re-Installing Perl

I changed a few perl modules that it seems I should not have...

Any way that I can re-install perl from scratch?

What OS are you using? From the CPAN site, version 5.8.1 is available. Type perl -v to get your version number. Quote from CPAN "This is a source code release, not a binary release. You will need a C development environment to build the sources. Binary releases will be made available by various vendors." Read the install file for instructions on compiling the binaries.
