help programming tcsh tab complete
Short problem: I would like some help with programming tab-complete in tcsh. If anybody has a website they can send me to, or any help, that would be Excellent.

Long backstory (you don't necessarily need to read this, but I'm putting this here just in case)
At work, there are many files of the format: abc.123.Desc.ext
where 'desc' is a brief description of the file. However if there are two files with the same prefixes, but different descriptions, I can't fully tab-complete them with complete=enhance. So I changed complete to 'igncase' which, apparently, doesn't *actually* ignore the case.

I have scoured the web, and found many pages that show examples of the tcsh "complete" command (such as this: tcsh[rc] Config Tips and Walk-Through), but I have been unable to find a single page that actually explains that syntax, or shows any way to extend that functionality (if there is a way).

Straight searches for 'linux tcsh complete command' (and every variation I can think of) come up with the bash included commands. Even running "man complete" in my tcsh shell brings up the bash included commands.
Running man tcsh talks *about* the command, but doesn't actually give any information.

NAME

       shells - shell database

SYNOPSIS

       /etc/shells

DESCRIPTION

       The shells file contains a list of the shells on the system. Applications use this file to determine whether a shell is valid. See getuser-
       shell(3C). For each shell a single line should be present, consisting of the shell's path, relative to root.

       A hash mark (#) indicates the beginning of a comment; subsequent characters up to the end of the line are not interpreted by  the  routines
       which search the file. Blank lines are also ignored.

       The following default shells are used by utilities: /bin/bash, /bin/csh, /bin/jsh, /bin/ksh, /bin/ksh93, /bin/pfcsh, /bin/pfksh, /bin/pfsh,
       /bin/sh, /bin/tcsh, /bin/zsh, /sbin/jsh, /sbin/sh, /usr/bin/bash, /usr/bin/csh, /usr/bin/jsh, /usr/bin/ksh, /usr/bin/ksh93, /usr/bin/pfcsh,
       /usr/bin/pfksh, /usr/bin/pfsh, and /usr/bin/sh, /usr/bin/tcsh, /usr/bin/zsh, and /usr/sfw/bin/zsh. /etc/shells overrides the default list.

       Invalid shells in /etc/shells could cause unexpected behavior, such as being unable to log in by way of ftp(1).
