Java - is it worth learning?
I have the opportunituy of learning basics/intermediate jave for 600 Euro. Is this worth learning??

Java has always been worthwhile to learn.

You can learn Java for free at http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/

Very likely it covers even more than your 600 Euro course because this tutorial is very complete.

Excellant, I will give that a try. Saves me a couple of hundred. Thanks a million. I knew that you can get tutorials online but most are not great and lead you to buy a book etc...

This is the greatest tutorial I have ever read, and it's official from Sun too so it's authoritative.
