I need the result file to be:
Code:

Below is the shell that i am currently using which gives out a result...<A>BC<A>EF<A>GH

SHELL:

testfile=`cat TEST_FILE | tr -d '\r'`
for i in $testfile
do
test_trans=$test_trans"$i"
done
echo $test_trans > TRANS_FILE
