plz help about "for" loop
hi
i am newbe in unix so i want to help me in this:
i want something like that:

for (city in $names)&&(UTC in utcs)

can someone give me the right syntax??

in a modern POSIX shell - ksh, bash:

for CITY in $names
do
    for UTC in $utcs
    do
          echo "CITY = $CITY,  UTC = $UTC"
    done
done

whats is utcs?? file??
and names is variable??
