telnet in shell

hi guruz,

i have problem

i have 2 servers running IBM AIX-UNIX
i have already made a shell which will take input from user & execute accordingly .... this input is then ftp to another system as .txt (which i have done too)

Now in the same shell i wanna invoke a shell on system B to be execute & use the ftp file as input. rsh & rlogin not working ....

telnet in shell might help
but didnt know the exect context for telnet session to be initiated & execute the shell

Thanks

Using SSH(1) would be simpler you can setup passworldess SSH so you do not have to provide a password in your script and then you can run:
Code:
$ ssh user@servername command

Question is quite hard to follow.
Suggest you or your systems administrator get AIX rsh working.
Maybe look at:
man .rhosts
