How to enter passpharse during batch calling sftp

I have to code sftp batch script connect to vendor, how I am going to make it passwordless interaction since I only receive identitykey file from vendor. Or am i missinging anything else? Sftp works fine that I do iit manually (not thru batch).

specifics required

sftp behavior in this realm are very implementation specific. The core problem is historical in nature. UNIX used to mean a lot of folks sharing a system. If you put the password in the command line, anyone who did a ps would see the password. A number of approaches were used by different coders to avoid this problem. One is to use a password file. The name is on the command line but the file access is limited. Another approach is to cache the password by site. If the process doesn't have a terminal connected, try using the password out of the cache. Another approach is to use a PKI certificate for authentication.

We probably need to know what software is on each end to be able to provide an answer for you.
