Hi, I current have many apps servers running and need to create a script to rotate logs daily, and then create an autosys job to delete logs that are older than 30 days. I was thrown into this and have no idea what to do, please help me get started, thanks!

What does your logrotate man page say?

Have you looked in /etc, which is where the configuration files are usually kept?

in order to delete the log files we need to write a script which does that . When you say delete log files ( I am sure that is for EP log files EP stands for Event processor) . Once the script is done then you can go ahead and schedule the autosys job . I would help you to schedule the autosys job but before that you need to write a script which delete the EPlog files older than 30 days.

Please share if you would recieve any road block during writing of script
