How to get latest file via FTP session
Hello ,

My requirement is as follows:

I want to connect to a remote FTP server using FTP and then get the latest file from server location [I mean latest file based on timestamp created on FTP server location]

can u pls share code snippet for this ?

I tried the following code, which is in-correct, please advice otherwise

ftp -in >log.txt 2>>log3.txt <<END_FTP
verbose
open <server>
quote user <user>
quote pass <paswwd>
prompt
cd DIR
lcd DIR2
ascii
FILE_NAME=`ll -rt|tail -1|awk '{print $9}'
get $FILE_NAME
quit
END_FTP
# 4
