Shell Programming and Scripting

Hi,

I have a shell script in systemA and another shell script in systemB.
when I execute the script in systemA, it should call the another script in systemB.

Please tell me the way to do this.

Use rsh to execute the shell script on the remote machine.

Or if it is a secure system then consider using SSH, take a look at:
Run Remote Commands with SSH (to run commands remotely) and Setup the SSH server to use keys for authentication (to achieve password-less but secure SSH).

the remote system may be UNIX or windows system.
does rsh works for both?

I have the IP, uid and pwd for the remote system, please tell me how to identify the type of the remote system (unix/windows/etc).

If i want to use SSH cmd, I should find whether the system is in secured connection.
is there any way to find this?
OR SSH will work for all the systems?
do I need to do any setup in my system to use SSH?
