script to generalize "=" operation
is it possible to write a script that will automate the initialization for variables for following scenario,


Code:
x="hi i am student"
y="(yy={0})"
z="set={0},type=People,country=hi"
a=1


for all combination it should assign values for yy , set , type , country , a

here in this case,
each echo should print respective value as shown below

Code:
x="hi i am student"
y=(yy={0})
yy={0}
z="set={0},type=People,country=hi"
set={0}
type=people

Is it possible to write generalize script or command to do it ?

Hi, I'm not sure from your description exactly what you are trying to achieve.

Are you just wanting to initialise the same variables in multiple scripts? Or are you wanting to a script that will create other scripts? What language are you using?

no !

i just want "shell" script that recursively assign righthand side of "=" to lefthand side of it.

User gets "The operation could not be completed because you do not have enough access privileges."

pthread_create returns "operation not permitted" if I try to link static?

Hello, I am trying to port some testtools we wrote from solaris to redhat linux(AMD64). If I link dynamic, set the correct LD_LIBRARY_PATH, everything runs fine. I'm kicking Unix questions out like Bruce Lee. So I'm copying a directory of files, in each directory I inevitablly get this: I get that for usually the same set of directories/files in each folder. Is there a way to override this when copying files? (4 Replies)
