autosys/ksh - problems with script
Hi,

I'm using autosys and want to set it up that I receive emails when certain jobs start and finish. I don't want to edit each jobs script (ksh) to send a mail at start and finish, I would rather have a single script/job that watches for a trigger when the jobs have started or finished.

I can't figure out which is the best way to approach this, because the jobs can all start at different times, I can't set up the script to run sequentially.
I'm not sure if a while loop, or autorep'ing the jobs running state, will work properly either.

Any ideas on which way is the best way do this?

Edit each job script to send the start and finish emails.
