I wish I had your file - otherwise its more of a hit-and-trial affair.

Can you let me know any registry key from where I can generate this file? I'm assuming this is something standard across windows machines.

Thanks rikxik for keeping working on the problem.
To generate such a file, export wathever key that contains a long enough REG_BINARY value. Here are some that might exist on most MS Windows computers:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\GlobalPowerPolicy
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Mouse
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Appearance\Schemes

Launch the command like this:

REGEDIT /E win.reg "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\PowerCfg\GlobalPowerPolicy"
