You can work with blocks of text, like paragraphs:

# print paragraph if it contains AAA (blank lines separate paragraphs)

 sed -e '/./{H;$!d;}' -e 'x;/AAA/!d;'

 # print paragraph if it contains AAA and BBB and CCC (in any order)
