Executing a script on a remote system via SSH

Hello all,

I have a relatively simple script I wrote to generate a count of errors broken down. What I would like to do is execute this script from another server so that I don't actually have to log in to the server to run the check.

The script on what we'll call "Server A" is:

Code:
#!/usr/bin/bash
######################################################
# Program:      last18s.sh
# Date Created: 8 November 2008
# Developer: XXXX (Digital Sys. Admin)
# Description: Generates Service groups throwing error 18's with a given threshold
######################################################
if
[ "$1" = "" ]; then
echo "Usage: last18s.sh <number of error 18's back you wish to check for>"
else
tac /usr/local/n2bb/log/n2bb.log|grep 0x12|head -$1|awk '{print "Service group = "$19}'|sort -n|uniq -c|tr -d "."
fi
root@bms02-twc-NM-newyork-ny:/root#

I can run this script directly from "Server B" by just entering:

18:44:29\[ddecosta@N.Man)
[~/bin]$ ssh root@10.241.1.52 'last18s.sh 10'
Password:
4 Service group = 11559

but once I try putting this in a simple script, it stops workig:

Code:
(18:49:00\[ddecosta@N.Man)
[~/bin]$ cat last18s.sh
#!/usr/bin/bash
ssh root@10.241.1.52 'last18s.sh $1'

(18:49:32\[ddecosta@N.Man)
[~/bin]$ last18s.sh 10
Password:
Usage: last18s.sh <number of error 18's back you wish to check for>

Is there not a way to pass variables through the SSH?
