They need to modify semaphores on SUN and HP servers (from Patrol documentation) so they suppose that there is the same need on Linux. But we don't find any documentation on this. This why I ask here...

I am not the project leader for Patrol. I only know they want to install the agent on servers I've installed. The business rules says what all servers need to have Patrol for monitoring and alerts.

I need to modify these parameters for BMC Patrol setup.
But I'm not sure it is really needed.
Is someone can help ????
