removed this from a friends solaris box via telnet.

root can not login at this point is there anyway to fix this via telnet.

I have one session open that is not root

I have tried to boot from the cd and it did not help the issue with my case in loading Solaris 7.

You have to have the boot disk to install the software.

can someone confirm or deny this.

I need to know how to make a boot disk to get Solaris 7 to load on a intel machine.

I have checked out Sun.Com, but did not understand how to download and convert the files to a disk.

any help...
