Try using: ls -lt | grep 'Date' ...

Try using:

ls -lt | grep 'Date'

Example: ( Using Solaris 7 )

If you were looking for files on July 4, 2000 you would

ls -lt | grep 'Jul 4 2000'
ls -lt | grep...
