I sugest that you perform ufsdump periodically (perhaps daily) to all your filesystems to a tape device. If you have some kind of aplications running on that machine you should stop them...

No, it´s not a problem. But in Solaris a don´t need to do that, i can just rename the account. Recreate the user is the only solution to rename it in AIX?
