is available to change the font size thereby doing a equivalent compressed printing
but lp -d <printername> -o compressed filename
is...
lp -d <printername> -o cpi=17 filename
where printername is the name of the printer
and filename is the file to be printed.
Is this lp command can be used for compressed printing in linux..?...
I want to know whether lp command is having option for setting compess mode in linux.Is it possible to pass escape characters to lp command to set printing in compress mode.
